Please join us for an Artist Reception at the lovely Counterpoint in Golden Hill, San Diego on May 5th 2016, beginning at 5pm. Feel free to come any time that evening and have a drink with me. My art will be displayed for up to 3 months so stop by anytime.
I finished a quick study of my daughter Ivy last night from a photograph I took while we were camping this winter. I feel it captures her vivacious spirit and fun personality, not to mention the pure volume that comes with being a 2 year old. This is a smaller painting, 8″ x 10″ oil on canvas.
My little painting of Miles in the flower fields was accepted for exhibition in the current show at SDAI in Balboa Park. It is in the “One Foot” show since the painting is a 12″x12″.
Juried and awarded artwork from “Outstanding Visual Artists” of the region
Show runs from October 9, 2009 to November 15, 2009

I finished this little painting yesterday from a photo I took of some friends of mine. The photo was taken at Carlsbad Beach in San Diego, CA last month while we were beach camping.
I love this private moment. They were just a step away from our chaotic group and on their own. Graham (the baby) is still becoming acquainted with this world and the wonder of the ocean.
I painted this small oil this morning to compliment yesterdays black lime still life. I think they go well together. I’ll be posting this one on etsy too.
I just finished this oil painting of limes just plucked from our tree. This painting is 8″x8″, oil on canvas, finished sides. I am hoping to do more of these for my http://www.bendystar.etsy.com shop.
