My Family Portrait Triptych was accepted by the jury for show at this months exhibition at the San Diego Art Institute Museum of the Living Artist. Family Portrait Triptych is a Modern spin on the traditional family portrait. This style leaves room for more panels to be added at a later time, showing for additions to the family, as well as updated aged panels of the 3 participants. The composition exemplifies the family protecting the child and the directionality of their gaze suggests each participants role in the family.
