About the Artist

Wendy Kwasny is a local San Diego fine artist, specializing in oil paint portraiture, still lifes and cityscapes.

She earned her BA in fine art from SDSU, and regularly shows her art at the Museum of the Living Artist in Balboa Park.

Wendy has shown her work in venues all over San Diego in the past 16 years, and has completed numerous commissioned pieces. She is currently a member of The San Diego Art Institute in Balboa Park. She works fast and feverishly — without it, she feels lost.

When she’s not painting, she is off playing with (and being inspired by) her husband, son, and dog.
